Department of Heritage and Tourism

About the Department

The Department represents the means to encourage the discovery of cultural heritage as the representation of a specific culture. With the help of licensed and knowledgeable guides, it will be possible to learn about the most popular tourist destinations, UNESCO sites and lesser-known regions of the globe, as well as cultural and natural areas in contact with local customs. These are journeys for people who desire to discover, comprehend, and remember in addition to knowing.‍

How we work

Through the organization of cultural itineraries and trips in specific regions and countries, the department wants to encourage and ensure the access to natural and cultural heritage all around the world.

Our Goals

The Department wants to promotes and understands cultural heritage not only as the representation of different ways of life and as historic symbols, but also as art symbols, as a representation of the architecture, the diet, the religion and every other element that forms part of the identity of a nation. Our intention is to value the many places that contain precious memories. From these assumptions arises the idea of a project that is able to break down cultural, emotional, and psychological barriers that are often established in the approach to cultural enjoyment and to discover how much we human beings are similar, shared by many more things than we think.

Activities

The trips will involve the general public, together with all the enthusiasts and the experts of the tangible and intangible, natural and cultural heritage.Experience everything that the travel destinations have to offer, learn about other cultures and their customs, and participate in significant moments of their tradition. Every cultural journey is also an exploration, a desire to explore ancient historical routes and to be fascinated by destinations and peoples with history and traditions also very different from ours. Agreements with Italian and international tour operators, institutional partners and every character involved with a relevant experience in the field of tourism, will be completed. Everything will be organized with the aim to elaborate a tour guide for each cultural trip designed, both within Italian territory and abroad.
