Maria Font-Mas is a Lecturer in Private International Law at the Faculty of Law, Rovira i Virgili University, Tarragona (Catalonia, Spain). She completed her degree and Ph.D. at the University of Barcelona, obtaining the grade of European Doctorate in 2009 with a thesis supervised by Dr. Alegría Borrás. She is an affiliated researcher in many international projects focusing on multilingualism in EU laws, the circulation of foreign authentic instruments, international foundations, human rights and business. Currently, she serves as the co-principal researcher of the project titled "Property Rights System over Tangible Goods in the Field of European Private International Law: Aspects of International Jurisdiction and Applicable Law (PRPIL)." In this field, international litigation plays a crucial role in the restitution of cultural objects.
